1 & ½ crushedPride. (Note: not the soap. Definitely, not Tide nor Tide pods, just because it rhymes with Pride) It should be crushed so it could be easily swallowed.
2 cups of lust. Choose your preferred cup sizes.
Warning: do not concentrate too much lust on the recipe or the end-result, love, would be invalid.
A thread of patience with length covering the distance between the Earth and Moon… and back.
Crystal clear honesty that reflects every person who stares at it.
3 tablespoons of Care, Sympathy, and Empathy. 100% Concentrated.
A sense of self in its solid state. For precautionary measures: in case the love you’re trying cook comes burnt or overcooked or ends-up pushing you away or leaving you alone… you still got yourself whole. You still know your worth.
Pages of poetry. Add meter and rhyme to taste.
Procedure:
1. ) You are left with 143 Gallons of Confidence that have many uses. Bathe yourself with confidence to easily scrub-off the shyness that has been accumulated under your skin. Let fear flow away with confidence. The remaining gallons of confidence could be used to wash your face in the morning to treat acne, for gargling or rinsing to prevent bad-breath (or from insecurities coming out of your mouth), and be poured in a perfume bottle to be sprayed. You may not be that handsome or gorgeous, but damn, you look like, and smell like confidence.
2.) The pride you crushed are meant to be swallowed. It’ll give you the humbling effect of humility in the long run and would make you more lovable.
PSA: Swallowing pride would never kill you.
3.) Stir lust along with your desires. Lust over the dreams you want to fulfill. It gives you the liberty to fantasize, the ablity to dream and to visualize. The mind simulates the sensations, the touches, the interjections, or whatever feeling you want to feel or whatever you want to be real. It’s up to you.
Note: too much lust just leaves you imagining.
4.) The thread of patience should be weaved as fashionable garments of understanding. It would make you seem loving but not cringy to look at. Also, the thread of patience is enough to weave a sweater and a blanket to shield yourself from the coldness of a special someone’s heart, and a handkerchief to wipe-off his/her tears.
5.) The crystal clear honesty would reflect everyone who tries to reach out to you. Being crystal-clear honest to some would offend them; not everyone of us is ready for the truth. Be ready to be mistaken as an insensitive chum. But it would help you to filter-out people, know which people has already accepted the truth on themselves and those who not. Also, crystal-clear honesty would act as a mirror for your special someone. He/she would fit her curves and edges while staring at your honesty. So be crystal clear.
6.) Care, sympathy, and empathy should be mixed well to be felt. Works as a medicine for indifference.
7.) A sense of self would serve as a blueprint for your actions. It’ll give certainty. So hang on to yourself, dear. To love someone, you got to love yourself first.
8.) The pages of poetry articulates and indicates the emotions and motions of one’s mind and heart. To love is also to be sensible, to read books is to read minds. To follow the repetitive beat of a verse and rhyme is to dance along the beat of somebody’s heart. Freeing the verse is finding the words someone oughts to say, and the words someone longs to hear.
9.) Do all these things despite of the bitterness of the world you live in. There is still sweetness, rather, umami in the love we cook. It all depends on our hearts’ contents… and discontents.
10.) Mix well ‘til satisfied… as if human beings could truly be satisfied with love. So rather, mix well for all eternity.
We’re fishes in an enormous aquarium,
You’re a wonderful whale while I’m a goby,
My love lingers until kingdom come,
But it will remain inconspicuous into your absorbed eyes.
In a world full of chaos, you’ll find me here,
Staring, caring, and loving until hell freezes over.
The tale of an enormous being and the diminutive nature,
Wishing, hoping, and praying they could end up together.
